Trades Bar operates both as a mixed venue catering to the LGBT community, and also as a Members Only venue.

You do not need to be a member of Trades Bar to attend on any of our Mixer nights, but to attend on a men-only night, you must a) be a man (!) and b) you must be a Member of Trades Bar.

On our Mixer nights, everyone from the LGBT community is welcome at Trades Bar.

On our Men-only nights, we operate a strictly members-only admission policy – you have to be a member to be admitted. You can apply for Membership at the door, or you can collect an Application Form from Trades Bar – or from Trades Hotel – complete it at your leisure, and bring it to the bar.

Whether you're coming to Trades Bar for a Mixer Night or a Men-only night, please bear in mind that if you look under 21, you will need to be able to provide proof that you are over 18 years of age.

You can become a member of the Bar by going to the Reception desk at the Bar, and completing a form.

Memberships are available which allow admission to Trades Bar for a single day at a rate of £3.00, although special price promotions may also apply to certain Special Event Memberships. Admission is still strictly controlled, and Terms and Conditions apply to Memberships.

"One day" is defined as the period following the issuing of a Membership until the following closing-time of Trades Bar, at which time the Membership will expire. Retention of the Terms and Conditions is required during your visit.
